FAQ: I just bought my Wind Tracker and it doesn’t work... what do I do!?
Don’t panic—99% of the time, the issue isn’t with the unit itself. The most common culprit is the charging cable.
Here’s what to do:
1. Try charging right away. As soon as
you unbox your Wind Tracker, plug it in to charge. When charging, the silver button will glow RED. Once fully charged, the light will turn GREEN.
2. Check the charging cable. The included cable may occasionally be defective due to mass production. If the unit doesn’t seem to charge, simply try another Micro USB cable (most people already have one from another device). In many cases, swapping the cable solves the issue immediately.
3. Why this happens? Sometimes the tiny connector teeth inside the port don’t align properly with the included cable, preventing a good connection.
A different Micro USB cable almost always fixes this.
Once your unit is charged, fill it up and you’re ready to go—it’s that simple!
